Data & methodology
For each start date, use the first observation at or after the selected calendar-day horizon. Exclude gaps over four days (eight for weekly data). Calculate and sort the resulting money amounts. Read the values at 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 90% of the sorted list, using linear interpolation between adjacent values. At least 30 historical periods are required.
